NDSU gives youth gardening grants

FARGO – North Dakota State University offers grants of up to $ 750 for youth gardening projects.

The funds can be used to purchase gardening and educational supplies for schools, 4-H clubs, church groups, and other youth organizations. Every year around 50 projects are supported across the country.

In 2020, more than 3,300 children participated in Junior Master Gardener projects, including school gardens, beautifying schools and parks, building raised beds for the elderly, and growing food for local pantries.
