“A food journey: From the garden to the classroom” is planned for Wednesday, February 10th, at 4 pm and will take place via the Zoom platform.
NCC Professor Kelly Allen, a passionate advocate of the diversity between food cultures and sustainable food systems, will host the interactive, free webinar.
Allen’s commitment to social, agricultural and environmental justice is evident in his classroom and in daily life, according to a press release. Allen is also the developer and coordinator of NCC’s East 40 Community Garden.
