One mother who was happy to find two “ladybugs” in her house was shocked to find out what the insects actually were after posting a picture of them online.
A Reddit user who claimed to have an “affinity” with the colorful insect posted on the popular forum page and shared her delight that the bugs were in her house, Birmingham Live reported.
She wrote, “I’ve always been drawn to ladybugs. I do not know what it is. I just feel connected to them.
“This morning I found a mom on my bed and a baby ladybug on my bed and I have the feeling that today is my day and something beautiful is about to happen!
“Do you all have lucky signs? Share your stories! “
But the mother didn’t get the answers she expected. Instead, people flocked to tell the woman that the insects were bed bugs rather than ladybugs.

Bed bugs are small insects that often live on furniture or bedding. Their bites may be itchy, but they usually don’t cause other health problems, according to the NHS.
Rentokil says bed bugs hitchhike on people, clothing, luggage, or other personal belongings and are accidentally transported to other objects.
