Ladybug-loving mum shook when buddies level out what her residence is definitely infested with

One mother who was happy to find two “ladybugs” in her house was shocked to find out what the insects actually were after posting a picture of them online.

A Reddit user who claimed to have an “affinity” with the colorful insect posted on the popular forum page and shared her delight that the bugs were in her house, Birmingham Live reported.

She wrote, “I’ve always been drawn to ladybugs. I do not know what it is. I just feel connected to them.

“This morning I found a mom on my bed and a baby ladybug on my bed and I have the feeling that today is my day and something beautiful is about to happen!

“Do you all have lucky signs? Share your stories! “

But the mother didn’t get the answers she expected. Instead, people flocked to tell the woman that the insects were bed bugs rather than ladybugs.

She posted on Reddit and then got inundated with comments

“Tho … these are bed bugs, ma’am,” said one.

“These things are going to make your life hell,” agreed a second.

Another person wrote, “I always feel so horrible when someone gets bed bugs. These things are going to make your life hell.”

Another wrote: “Absolute hell. My parents let my sister’s boyfriend stay in my room while I was away from college. When I came home. Bed bugs everywhere.

“The weirdest thing is my parents didn’t pay for an exterminator. I was straight out of college and broke. My parents are making six digits. So I had to go to Reddit’s bed bug house and take care of it myself.

“My sisters and I lived with these things for months. After cleaning, dusting, washing and sleeping with them. You have to sleep in the same bed because they will follow you around the house. Somehow we got rid of them.

“Nightmare. I will never buy used beds or furniture.

Bed bugs are small insects that often live on furniture or bedding. Their bites may be itchy, but they usually don’t cause other health problems, according to the NHS.

Rentokil says bed bugs hitchhike on people, clothing, luggage, or other personal belongings and are accidentally transported to other objects.
