The Duchess of Cambridge tries to get the Duke of Cambridge to work better in the garden.
Catherine is determined to get her husband, Prince William, to know their gardening skills better, and has even recommended reading the tips and tricks contained in a book by Gardner’s World expert, Monty Don, are listed.
While the prince claims to be an avid gardener, he admits “having no idea what he is doing” and has to rely on his wife, known as Kate Middleton before their wedding, for help.
During a visit to Brighter Futures in Rhyl, North Wales, Thursday (5/6/21), the prince spoke with mansion coordinator Brian Penney, who revealed some of his conversations with the 38-year-old king.
According to Brian, William told him that Catherine does all of the gardening at home.
Brian also said that William told him he needs more knowledge about what he is doing in the garden before he can really help his wife.
William reportedly added, “I really like it, but I have no idea what I’m doing.”
Bringing light on his conversation with William, Brian said, “He told me Kate is taking him into the garden. She will get him Monty Don’s book.”
He also suggested that William’s determination might even bring him closer to his father, the Prince of Wales, since Charles himself is a well-known horticulturist.
Brian added, “He said she wants to make him do it because Charles likes it, so it’s something they can enjoy together. He was so down to earth, such a nice man.”
