Udhagamandalam (TN): In a shocking incident, rats emptied 12 bottles of wine kept in a government-run TASMAC liquor store in a town near Gudalur, about 80 km from here, in the Nilgiris district.

The incident became known after TASMAC employees opened the store in Kadampuzha on Monday, which had been closed for a long time due to the lockdown.

They found the closures of the 12 quarter liquor bottles open, with bite marks from rats and emptied wine.
