Players are discovering that a Call of Duty: Black Ops bed can provide security from certain types of zombies in the Cold War mode.
True, there have been glitches, bugs, and other similar tactics that were used by Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War In the past, a new zombies strategy gave players a new “safe zone”. This bug will almost certainly be fixed, but for now it should help players fighting in zombies or just looking for a room to breathe.
Many maps have locations where the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War zombies do not travel. From rolling hills to standing on top of objects, players have found a variety of places to avoid being killed by the Horde. Recently, a gamer discovered an unusual location that kept the Megaton Blaster and Bomber Zombies from attacking.
In a Reddit post by nerdy_the_artist, the player shows a unique situation with two very fleeting undead. This Call of Duty: Black Ops fan of the Cold War zombies discovered that by hiding on the bed in Ruka’s raised cabins, they could avoid the deaths of Megaton blasters and undead bombers. In the clip, the player takes this opportunity to showcase the zombie idle animations while sitting safely on the small bed. It’s not known if this will prevent normal zombies from attacking, but the video is evidence that it stops the explosive alternatives.
The bed is near the burned field where the holdout crystal appears. Players can enter the building and climb onto the bed for a moment of security. While this bug is likely to be a long way from being active in Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies in the Cold War, players are now using it to experiment with other undead strains.
The players in the comments joke about the safety many children feel in their beds. Comments include hints on how to hide under the covers, make sure your feet are properly secured, and wait for the creepy undead to disappear.
Treyarch tends to fix Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War zombie errors pretty quickly, but it is unknown if they are aware of this particular issue. Since it affects zombies and not warzone or multiplayer, it probably won’t be that high on the priority list. Bugs and glitches in zombies don’t really add to the fun of others. Until then, players will find little security under the soft bedding of this special upstairs bedroom.
