Western Pest Services, based in Parsippany, NJ, a subsidiary of Rollins Inc., will expand into southern New Jersey and Pennsylvania with the acquisition of Abalene Termite & Pest Control.

Abalene Termite & Pest Control opened in 1927. Owner Ulrich Blumenthal and his son Daniel built the company over the years in and around Mercer County. Abalene Termite & Pest Control serves residential and business customers in the Central New Jersey area and parts of Pennsylvania.

The acquisition enables both companies to expand their service areas. A press release on the deal said it will also allow companies to keep the family-run feel of a neighborhood vendor, but with the benefits of a larger company with more resources.

“The acquisition of Abalene Termite & Pest Control is definitely a great thing for the company, but even more so for its customers,” said Pat Porcella, Regional Manager of Western Pest Services. “We are excited to be able to offer Abalene customers the service they have come to expect – plus the rest of the services Western offers. It is definitely a win for everyone. “

Western Pest Services has been providing high quality pest control services to local households and businesses in the Northeast and Central Atlantic regions since 1928.

According to the press release, Western Pest Services was interested in acquiring Abalene Termite & Pest Control “because of their fast, reliable and honest pest control services … and their customer-centric approach”.

Western Pest Services is proud to add Abalene Termite & Pest Control to its portfolio of companies and looks forward to continuing to provide our customers with the service they have come to expect, according to a new publication.
