An industry leader in Pest, termite, mosquito and bed bug control services have found that Big cities have the most bed bugs.
Terminix Global Holdings Listed the top cities with the most bed bugs between January 1 and August 20, with Los Angeles number 1.
Next on the list of bed bug infestations among the five largest cities: Cleveland, Philadelphia, Detroit, and New York City.

Terminix’s top 50 lists also include cities with high levels of bed bugs in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas.
“Bed bugs go where people go, so they can be practically anywhere,” said Rick Cooper, Senior Director of Bed Bug Services at Terminix. “Bed bugs migrate out of infested structures – be it hotels, airports, schools or university campuses. You can take someone’s clothes or backpack with you. “
Bed bugs don’t necessarily live exclusively in beds; they cling to clothes and bags.
