Spring is here and with it many of the creatures and flying beetles that we don’t see in winter are crawling out of their holes and reappearing. It is crazy to think in a state of such beauty that we can face some not-so-beautiful things.

We’re not talking about stink bugs today, no matter how annoying they may be. I think it’s time to talk about some of Michigan’s more dangerous animals and insects. I’m not going to deal with the bears, cougars, or wolves that live here in Michigan. We’re going to be talking about more insects and species here in Michigan that contain toxins and could prove fatal.

I did my homework and research and compiled a list of the types of snakes, spiders, frogs, and flying insects that you can see here in the state of Michigan that could harm you or maybe even your pets. You made the list of Michigan’s deadliest animals and living things.

Michigan’s Deadlist Animals & Critters

You may even have seen some of these around your home or across the state.

This post was in no order of the most dangerous species. But if we want to operate one of these living entity horns. The most dangerous thing we can have here in the state of Michigan is the Black Widow Spider or the Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake. We’ve all heard about the Black Widows and how dangerous a bite from one of them could be.

But did you know that the Eastern Massasauga rattlesnake contains more venom than a typical rattlesnake? Fortunately, when you encounter such a creature, the snake doesn’t release as much venom as regular rattlesnakes when they end up biting their prey.

Perhaps you are crawling around and preparing to enjoy more of the comforts of home after reading this post, or you are preparing to enjoy the great outdoors in Michigan, whether or not these are just some of the dangerous creatures that might be in lie in wait for our great state.
