North Dakota State University offers a number of free workshops for gardeners. The Spring Fever Garden Forums will take place on Monday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. from March 22 to April 12.
Topics include growing roses, selecting maples, growing a no-till garden, extending the growing season, landscaping with ornamental grasses, choosing vegetables, spotting good beetles, and much more.
“This is a great opportunity for gardeners to catch up on the latest research from NDSU.” said Paige Brummund, NDSU Extension Agent. “Participants can watch live presentations and ask the teachers their questions.”
Gardeners have the option to look online at home or at a participating NDSU Extension County Office. The Ward County Extension Office will host the event. The office is located at 225 3rd Street SE, Minot.
Pre-registration is required for attendees at the office. Due to COVID-19, personal class is limited to 40 people, and face covers are required at this time.
For more information on the workshops, registration, and free online connection to the forums, visit the NDSU Spring Fever Garden forums or go directly to www.ag.ndsu.edu/springfever.
