The Washington inaugural address will discuss how technology can be used to increase efficiency while improving performance, including automating tasks. The final keynote from Orange will discuss some of the emerging trends that will shape and influence the future.

As a technology strategist and certified futurist, Washington takes up complex social media, app and web topics and makes them easy to understand and accessible for everyday people. Her customers include Fortune 500 companies such as Google, Microsoft, and GE. She is one of Forbes’ 50 leading female futurists and author of One Tech Action and The Social Media Why.

Orange is Executive Vice President and COOO of The Future Hunters, one of the world’s leading futuristic consulting firms. The couple join an impressive list of industry speakers who have successfully integrated software and technology into their landscaping, lawn maintenance and pest control companies. The conference sessions and speakers were carefully selected by the publishers of Lawn & Landscape, the producers of the conference, the editors of sister publication Pest Control Technology (PCT) and the 2021 Conference Advisory Board.

“With so many businesses going remotely in 2020 due to COVID-19, technology was needed more than ever to make businesses function every day,” said Brian Horn, editor of Lawn & Landscape. “Crystal and Erica will be giving the audience an overview of how 2020 changed the way companies move forward and how it works effectively.”

This is the second year for the Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference and will again be held in Orlando, Florida from August 31st to September 31st. 2, 2021 at a new location – Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate.

Along with the new location, there is advanced training for pest control professionals supported by sister publication Pest Control Technology (PCT) and a virtual option for those unable to host the in-person event. In addition, attendees will have organized networking and access to an exhibition hall with industry-leading technologies, solutions and innovations for professionals in the green industry and pest management.

“This year’s conference offers a unique networking opportunity between two service industries that not only survived the global pandemic, but in many cases exceeded them,” said Dave Szy, Editor of Lawn & Landscape. “The exchange between professionals in both industries will be just as valuable as the educational program.”
