Lowe’s Free Gardening Kits: Methods to Get a Free Equipment Each Week in April

Spring is about a lot more than drinking glass after glass of rosé in your favorite rooftop bar – although that’s a key component. It’s also an opportunity to try out your green thumb. Which, conveniently, has never been easier. Lowe’s is giving away a variety of gardening kits every week in April.

However, there is a process to getting yours. You need to register for one, which you can do through Lowe’s website. The first kit of the week will be available from April 8th and you can request it online from April 1st.

“Spring just feels so metaphorical this year. It literally and figuratively comes out of our winter,” Marisa Thalberg, Lowe’s executive vice president, chief brand and marketing officer, told USA TODAY. “We are already seeing that interest is growing very quickly as the weather is getting warmer in different parts of the country.”

Of course, it’s one of them while supplies last, so you want to get in and get yours before they’re all gone. Lowe’s will be releasing a different set each week.

Here is every kit of the weekly theme, according to a press release:

  • April 8th: Features recipes from chef and food stylist Amanda Frederickson
  • April 15: a mysterious garden piñata with mysterious packets of seeds
  • April 22nd: Tree saplings on Earth Day
  • April 29th: Create your own butterfly garden set

Sign up, drive through the roadside pickup and try (seriously, try your best here) not to kill your poor plants.
