OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – KFOR has now heard of another inmate who stepped out of Oklahoma County Jail and was covered from head to toe in bed bug bites.
“They’re about the size of a cent,” Michael Stange told News 4 a few weeks ago.

That was just the day after Stange was released from Oklahoma County Jail. He showed our news 4 crew bed bug bites that covered his body.
“I couldn’t even get into a vehicle to be picked up,” he said.
On Monday, News 4 heard from another Oklahoma County prison inmate with the same story.
“There are many,” Nikysha Williamson told News 4, revealing the bed bug bites. “I feel kind of itchy and irky.”

Earlier this month, following a recent inspection, the Oklahoma State Department of Health sent a letter to the prison authorities prohibiting them from accommodating teenagers due to several deficiencies.
Juveniles charged with less serious crimes were immediately removed from prison.
Then on Monday the prison announced that the remaining 11 teenagers, all charged with murder 1, were being transferred to Pawnee County Detention Center.
District Judge Ray Elliot has ordered juveniles charged with first degree murder to be treated first in the Oklahoma County Jail and then transferred to Pawnee.

Over a month ago, prison officials told News 4 that they were about to lay the foundation stone for a new building behind the prison where extreme heat would be applied to bed bug-infested items to kill the larva.
On Tuesday, prison officials told News 4 that these plans were still in the works.
“It was so ugly and pathetic. I figured who would want to work in this place anyway? ”Said Williamson. “I don’t want my enemy to be in this place.”
