Join Woodside’s First Friday (via Zoom) on February 3rd and learn more about organic fall, winter and spring vegetable growing with Lisa and Kathleen Putnam.
It’s time to plan and plant your spring vegetable garden: spicy arugula, beets, broccoli, cauliflower, Swiss chard, lettuce, peas, spinach and more! Have vegetables all year round using organic and sustainable techniques. The program includes planting seeds, growing cover crops, caring for seedlings, when to plant, how and when to harvest, and how to keep your soil alive with compost, mulch, bed preparation, cover crops, rotation, and rows of hedges.
The presentation begins February 3 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. The presentation will allow for questions via chat and will end at 8:00 p.m. You must have zoom enabled to see the presentation live. The presentation will be available shortly after the presentation on our YouTube channel and can be accessed here: https://tinyurl.com/WoodsideCA
