WFIU to Host Free Digital Occasion on Gardening | At Residence

“Gardening Tips with Moya Andrews” will take place on Tuesday, May 18th at 7pm

Bloomington, Ind., May 3, 2021 – Moya Andrews, host of the WFIU radio program and podcast Focus on Flowers, will share her gardening advice and expertise during a free WFIU virtual event.

“Garden Tips with Moya Andrews” will take place on Tuesday, May 18th at 7pm. Meet Andrews and Focus on Flowers producer LuAnn Johnson for a conversation about gardening and the opportunity to ask gardening questions.

Register for the event at wfiu.org/events. On the afternoon of May 18, attendees will be emailed an event link to talk to Moya Andrews that evening.

About Moya Andrews

Moya Andrews is the host of Focus on Flowers, which is available as a weekly podcast and airs on WFIU on Thursdays and Fridays at 3:01 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 6:57 a.m. In Focus on Flowers, Andrews not only shares gardening tips, but also shares some of her passion for the aesthetics of gardens – occasionally she even regards gardening as a metaphor for certain aspects of life. She is a master gardener, a member of the Bloomington Garden Club, and the author of two books on gardening, Perennial Short and Tall and Shrubs Large and Small. In addition to her horticultural expertise, Andrews is Professor Emeritus of Linguistics and Auditory Sciences at Indiana University, where she also served as Dean of Faculties and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
