Two Virginia towns are among the nation’s most prevalent New Year’s bed bugs.
Orkin released the 2022 edition of its annual list of cities with the most bed bugs, including Norfolk and Richmond, which ranked consecutively in the top 30.
Norfolk finished 25th overall, falling one place from Orkin’s 2021 list. Richmond followed immediately at number 26, the same ranking as last year.
Chicago topped the list for the second year in a row after moving up two spots from No. 3 in 2021.
The results were based on treatment data from major cities where Orkin offered both residential and commercial bed bug treatments from December 1, 2020 to November 30, 2021.
