Congratulations Toronto. We’re the best bed bug town in Canada again.
Despite a 20 percent drop in sightings this year, Orkin Canada tops the list for the second straight year, according to Toronto. With bed bugs in classrooms and in the TTC, this shouldn’t come as a big surprise

While Toronto may be at the top, five other cities in Ontario also made the top 10, with Sudbury in second place, Oshawa in third, Scarborough in seventh, Whitby in eighth, and Ottawa in tenth place.
Fortunately, bed bug sightings have actually decreased, likely due to the public health measures that have been put in place to fight COVID-19.
“Travel bands, home orders, and a general relocation have all resulted in fewer hitchhikers getting around for the first time since Orkin Canada’s annual survey was published five years ago,” a press release said.
