This Westbrook Girl Has The Most Weird Encounters With Rodents

Randi Sanborn from Westbrook was torn from her thoughts more than once when she encountered mice and rats. And these are not typical rodent incidents. These are vermin that she found in the strangest places and in the most bizarre situations.

Randi was last camping on a camping trip and among the equipment she packed in her car was a camping chair. When she opened the chair, a mouse slipped out of it and found that it had chewed several large holes in the fabric.

That in and of itself is not uncommon. Two days later on a trip to Hannaford, things went crazy when Randi saw this on the inside of the roof of her car.

“It must have been more than one (mouse) because this little buddy was in my car a few days later !!” she wrote on Facebook when she shared the photo. “Thank god it didn’t fall on my head while driving!”

It’s not every day that a mouse goes upside down over the roof of your car. I didn’t even know they could do it! Randi was pretty freaked out, but a good Samaritan in the parking lot got the mouse out of her.

Now I don’t know which is worse. Find a mouse on the inside roof of your car or a large rat sitting on the door handle of your front door. Believe it or not, it happened to Randi too.

Rats are very intelligent animals, and she seemed to be trying to find a way into Randi’s house by going through the most obvious entrance, the front door.

It had no luck getting in after climbing around every part of the storm door. Even if it got through the storm door, there is no way it will get past the front door. At some point it just went away and never came back.
