Salt and sand can be a challenge for gardeners. Join Ms. Grow-It-All, aka Esposito Garden Consultant Audrey Post, on Saturday morning August 7th for a discussion of best planting and horticultural practices for waterfront areas.

“Many of our customers either live near the coast or have holiday homes near the beach and often ask for advice on creating a beautiful landscape that works with the environment and not against it,” says Post, who moderates the series of seminars. “Just as some plants can withstand sun or shade better, there are plants that can withstand salt spray and extremely sandy soil.”

The seminar is free of charge, but registration is required. Go to the Events section of the Esposito Garden Center Facebook page to sign up. You can also register at espositogardencenter.com by either clicking on “Upcoming Events” in the top right corner of the home page. You will receive a confirmation email with the link and your password for the seminar.

The zoom portal opens at 9:30 a.m. and the seminar itself starts at 10 a.m. Please register at least five to 10 minutes earlier. The door to the waiting room is locked after the program starts; Therefore, delays cannot be allowed.
