Pitting two characters against each other is an integral part of film and television culture, but when both characters are dearly loved, chaos is bound to ensue. This is the case most Twitter when two iconic movie rodents, the lovable mouse Stuart Little and the kitchen-loving Remy from Ratatouille, go head-to-head in an online war.
In a now-viral tweet, Stuart and Remy are in a versus match, not because of their cute looks or charm, but over who would emerge victorious in a life-or-death battle!
Of course, the reactions to the tweet are downright hilarious, and thankfully both rodents get a healthy amount of support, so it’s okay to pitch your tent in either camp.
For Remy supporters, fans insist that the Paris rat will win due to her tough background. As the son of Django, the leader of the rat colony, Remy has the support of some of the most powerful rats in all of Paris, who will definitely show up to defend their leader’s son. Also, Remy has the added benefit of being able to control people through their hair.
On the other hand, Team Stuart members have argued that the little critter is a genius, albeit in a smaller package. Despite being coddled from a young age, he can drive a car, fly a plane, and do what many other people can, making him a more intelligent character than Remy.
As fans continue to debate which character will end up victorious, a third option lurks as a growing number of people believe the ultimate battle rodent will be the fearless Jerry from the classic cartoon Tom and Jerry.
