If you don’t have spring vacation plans, you are not alone. In a recent survey by Lowe’s, 70% of people responded that they wouldn’t plan a leisure trip until late summer. Even so, the retailer wants to help consumers spice up the next few months with warm weather by helping them make their homes the ultimate travel destination this spring.

In April Lowe’s will host the SpringFest, A new home and garden experience with special events, discounts on our favorite warm weather products, travel-inspired content and much more. During the month, customers can learn new skills through online and in-store demos in select stores. Think: lawn care with Scotts and paint demos with Sherwin-Williams. All events follow safety and social distancing guidelines.

In addition, Lowe’s is giving away free Garden-to-Go kits every Thursday in April starting April 8th. Starting April 1st, all you need to do to get your free kit is stop by Lowes.com to reserve one. You can then pick it up the following Thursday during a special roadside event. There is a different Garden-to-Go kit every week.

Lowe shared some details about the four Garden-to-Go kits available in April. The kit customers received on April 8th are sponsored by Miracle-Gro and include exclusive recipes from professional cook and food stylist Amanda Frederickson. Available on April 15th, the kit contains Lowe’s Mystery Garden Piñata with mysterious packets of seeds. On April 22nd, the kit will include a tree sapling in honor of Earth Day. To round off the month, the April 29th kit includes the materials families can use to create a butterfly garden.

Not a bad way to celebrate spring if you ask us. Here you can shop all of Lowe’s outdoor and spring products.
