- Possibly not for the squeamish, the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens offer a course “Composting with wigglers” Tuesday at 6 p.m. Learn the art of vermicomposting or worm bin composting. You will build a worm container and learn how to keep the residents happy. Classes are held both through Zoom and in person at 1777 E. Broad St. The in-person session fee, which includes all deliveries, is $ 65 or $ 60 for members. The virtual class is $ 25 or $ 20 for members. - • Pick up some native plants on Saturday from 9am to 1pm Wild Ones Native Plant Sale at Whetstone Community Center, 3923 N. High St. Ask local pollinators with a wide variety of flowers, shrubs and trees from three local growers.
