Former Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose will not hand over the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to another political party.
Naija News reports that this was announced by the local PDP government leaders in Ekiti state.
According to them, Fayose will not be bothered by the petty blackmail associated with any threat to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) for whatever reason.
The chairmen insist that the former governor owes no one an apology for supporting Bisi Kolawole for the governor of Ekiti.
They stated that Fayose is used to plotting to destroy his image and it doesn’t bother him.
According to them, “it’s PDP or nothing for Fayose and his political family. How do you leave your home for tenants?
“He has no apology for supporting Bisi Kolawole as PDP candidate for governor. This is more because Bisi Kolawole’s opponents also know that he is the aspirant to be beaten.
“In addition, for Fayose, PDP remains the overall picture that needs to be protected.
“Our leader is used to this armchair politics of image-smeared, he never bothered about it.
“Most importantly, Fayose, who we know is resilient in adversity, so it’s too late to give up his political house, the rodent PDP.”
