The St. George Conservation Commission and Kelly Corbin, ecological landscape architect and consultant, are offering “Gardening for a Better Planet: Home Landscape as Habitat” on Thursday, April 22, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm via Zoom.

Many approaches to sustainability arise from the question: “How can we be less bad for the earth?” In this presentation, Corbin will present her approach to doing more good for sustainable landscaping. It will offer simple and effective methods to encourage pollinators to create abundant habitats and even reduce your carbon footprint.

Your approach can reduce the time and effort required to maintain gardens and lawns while increasing your appreciation for the diverse nature around you, the City of St. George said in a press release.
