Susan Treftub, 43, says she was attacked on July 19 while walking in Blondin Park in Northfields, Ealing. The mother of one said to My London: “I have never seen so many animals, let alone rats.
“It was disgusting.
“I’m not sure, but I thought it was easily over 100. I felt like I was getting sick.”
A group of rats – known as nonsense – were moving through the grass towards Mrs. Treftub before jumping on them, she remembered.
Commenting on the bizarre and disturbing encounter, she added: “If it had been a child – there were so many – it could have done harm.

An Ealing Council spokesman said: “Encounters with rats and other potential pest species are clearly uncomfortable for everyone involved.
“We can all help reduce the chances of encountering rats in local parks by taking all the trash home and keeping our green spaces free of trash and food.
“During the warmer months, the council increases its garbage collections in the district’s parks to combat the increased amount of litter.
“It’s also important not to feed animals such as pigeons, ducks and squirrels, as this omitted food can also attract rats in search of a simple meal.
“Anyone with concerns about pest accumulation in parks can send an email parks@ealing.gov.uk to log the problem where it is examined by the pest control. “
