Dropping out at a Disney hotel has paid off incredibly — at least for one woman — because we’ve learned the company is spending a small fortune to settle her lawsuit.
The Disneyland Hotel — the quintessential lodging choice for any serious Disney fan visiting Anaheim — recently settled a claim it filed Ivy Eldridge …who claimed a few years ago that she was (literally) chewed up by a bed bug infestation in her quarters.
TMZ surfaced the story… Eldridge claimed so in 2018 Bed bugs were everywhere in her room during her stay earlier this year, which she claimed hotel staff had not notified her, although she claimed they appeared to be aware of it.
As a result… she said she was bitten all over and that the bed bugs even sucked her blood to the point where it caused a rash – for which she claims she had to receive costly medical treatment, which got her off the bed clock at work.
Eldridge even took photos of the alleged injuries at the time… and yes, they were actually gnarled. This lawsuit has been working its way through the pipeline for some time now — but it seems it’s finally come to a conclusion… because Eldridge’s attorneys tell us the Disneyland Hotel spent $100,000 to settle it.
Your legal team – led by Brian Virag from MyBedBugLawyer, Inc. – added: “Bed bugs do not discriminate; they can be found in hotels of all quality levels across the country and around the world.”
Point taken, but we’ll say this…creepy crawlers never looked so green!
