Ontario County’s Cornell Cooperative Extension is relaunching Just Plant It: Victory Gardening, this time with monthly zoom sessions hosted by horticultural resource educator Russell Welser.
The sessions on April 14th will deal with “soil preparation”. “Planting and Transplanting” on May 12; “Garden maintenance: weeding, watering, pests, diseases” on June 9; “Fall Planting and More About Gardening” on July 14; “Harvesting, Freezing, and Canning Your Products” on August 11th; and “Putting Your Garden to Bed” on September 8th. All take place at 6:30 p.m.
Participants have access to the course when they sign up for any or all of the Zoom sessions. Each session costs $ 10 per family or $ 50 for all six classes. Visit bit.ly/3v5X74r to register or email sab423@cornell.edu with any questions.
