The airline said: “Mr Kej, we regret the unpleasant experience you have had. We understand that spotting an insect on board is definitely annoying and we take such feedback seriously. Although all of our aircraft undergo a thorough cleaning and fumigation prior to each departure, rest assured the same was done again immediately after it was brought to our attention. We greatly appreciate your patronage and look forward to welcoming you on board soon for a better experience.”

Unless the cockroach and her friends crash the plane one day. Haha …”

Mr. Kej, while rigorous cleaning and fumigation is carried out before each flight, these insects sometimes find a way inside. In such a case, customers can contact our crew as they are always there to help. ~Team IndiGo — IndiGo (@IndiGo6E) October 14, 2022

However, some of the other users were horrified after seeing the video. Commenting on the post, one of the users said, “I find it disappointing that an airline responds to an issue so reported with a factual response and a canned mention of the protocol, rather than taking it as a motivation to make things even better.”
