BARBERTON, Ohio (WJW) – The Barberton City School District says their high school students are going away for a few days this week so exterminators can come in and treat the building for bed bugs.

In a Facebook post, the district says that while they have no reports of students getting bed bugs in their homes as a result of attending high school, they want to reassure everyone.
Exterminators are scheduled to come to the high school building at 9 a.m. on Wednesday for another inspection and treatment of the entire building.

The extermination is for the high school building only; All other buildings and buses run as usual.
Classes at the grammar school will take place again on Friday.
